What We Offer
Comprehensive One-on-One Consultations
Your initial consultation lasts one hour, during which we dive deep into your health history and current concerns. Before we meet, you’ll complete a health questionnaire and diet diary so we can understand your situation in detail.
Root Cause Assessment & Functional Lab Testing
During the consultation we take a thorough, personalized approach to assess the root causes of your symptoms. Functional laboratory testing may be recommended (optional), with many tests available from the comfort of your home.
Personalized Nutrition and Lifestyle Programs
After your consultation, we’ll send you a nutrition summery report—including dietary adjustments and supplement recommendations. Your plan will be reviewed and updated regularly to ensure it continues to meet your evolving health needs.

Comments from Clients…
One of the most difficult features of suffering from gluten sensitivity is being believed that this is your actual problem. In fact, this goes so far as to say that so many people have such little understanding of the condition and the results and you are so regularly told it could not be the reason behind illness, that you end up doubting it yourself and giving up!
That is where Christine was so important to me. Her knowledge coupled with her deep understanding made me realise I was correct and that I could heal this way. She was my first real ‘doctor’ in 44 years as she gave credence enough to what was happening that it renewed my own faith and belief in this path.
This is something I will never forget and which no money can buy. Priscilla Daniels
What is Functional Medicine?
Functional medicine is an evolution in the practice of medicine that better addresses the healthcare needs of the 21st century. By shifting the traditional disease-centered focus of medical practice to a more patient-centered approach, functional medicine addresses the whole person, not just an isolated set of symptoms. Functional medicine practitioners spend time with their patients, listening to their histories and evaluating the interactions among genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors that can influence long-term health and complex, chronic disease. In this way, functional medicine supports the unique expression of health and vitality for each individual.
We are all unique and no one diet or health treatment programme will be suitable for everyone. That is why Christine will develop a personalised programme that targets your individual needs as opposed to a “one size fits all” type of programme merely based on your symptoms.
When developing a wellness programme for you Christine will consider your health history, genetic predispositions, environmental inputs and physiological processes. Assessment includes the use of appropriate tests and observations, such as case history, anthropomorphic measurements, physical signs, laboratory tests, and nutrition/lifestyle analysis to determine an educational nutrition programme. Assessment also provides the basis for referral to a licensed physician, or other healthcare professional if necessary.
The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) teaches health care professional’s how to apply these principles in practice through an intensive 5 day training course called Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice™. Christine Bailey attended and completed the inaugural AFMCP™-UK training in London in 2011. She has also completed all the advance IFM modules and is a registered member of the IFM.
Christine is also a member of BANT (British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy), CNHC (Complementary & Natural Health Care Council). The CNHC has status as an AVR (Accredited Voluntary Register), which is overseen by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). The PSA is the government body which oversees statutory regulators including the General Medical Council (GMC) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Functional Testing
Christine offers an array of functional laboratory tests. Many clients opt to have screening tests which can provide further insight into nutritional status and/or biochemical imbalances. In addition many clients are seeking to optimise health and longevity through genetic and nutritional testing.
Different laboratories are used for the different cellular biochemistry analyses, which may involve blood, saliva, urine and stool sample testing. Laboratory investigations are done through recognised UK medical laboratories, including Biolab Medical Unit, Genova Diagnostics , Invivo, Regenerus Laboratories, Functional DX, Colab and The Doctor’s Laboratory (TDL).
Cellular biochemistry investigations and functional analysis helps to gain a more comprehensive understanding of how your body functions, enabling a more targeted and individualised therapeutic protocol. Re-testing after your course of therapy is recommended to ensure the effectiveness of your protocol and to allow for continued adjustment of your maintenance protocol following your programme.
