A perfect homemade chocolate truffle packed with superfoods to energise you through the festive season. These are delicious as a homemade Christmas gift and because they do not contain any dairy will keep for about 1-2 weeks in the fridge.

What’s Good About It?
These chocolate treats are much lower in sugar than shop bought versions and packed with nutrients to keep you energised.
- Place the nut butter, maple syrup, cacao butter in a small pan and warm through to melt the cacao butter. Place in a food processor with the cacao powder, dried cherries, superfood powders, sea salt, cinnamon and process to combine. Stir in remaining ingredients if wished or pulse them in to chop them a little.
- Spoon the mixture into a small bowl and chill for 1-2 hours to firm up.
- When the mixture is firm use a spoon to scoop out walnut size balls. Roll into balls and place on a sheet of baking parchment. Roll the truffles in a little cacao powder.
- Store in the fridge until required.

60g maple syrup
60g cacao butter or dark chocolate
2tbsp cacao powder
30g dried berries
2tsp maca powder
Pinch of sea salt
½ tsp. vanilla extract
1tsp ground cinnamon
30g shelled hemp seeds, optional
30g dried cherries, optional (or chopped stem ginger)
To coat: cocoa powder
