Smoothies are a great way to sneak in extra vegetables and fruit in the diet. I like to add kefir for a probiotic boost. You could use dairy kefir, coconut kefir or water kefir. I also add a scoop of protein powder for a morning boost.

What’s good about it?
Kefir is a fermented drink normally made from dairy. Rich in beneficial bacteria it can be a useful aid to support a healthy microbiome.
- Simply place all of the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.
