Smoothies are a great way to sneak in extra vegetables and fruit in the diet. I like to add kefir for a probiotic boost. You could use dairy kefir, coconut kefir or water kefir. I also add a scoop of protein powder for a morning boost.

What’s good about it?

Kefir is a fermented drink normally made from dairy. Rich in beneficial bacteria it can be a useful aid to support a healthy microbiome.

  1. Simply place all of the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.
  2. Best served immediately

Large handful of spinach or kale

100g frozen mixed berries

1tsp cashew nut butter or almond nut butter

200ml milk kefir or water kefir or coconut water

1tsp berry superfood blend, optional
