What’s Good About It?
Chickpeas are a great source of fibre and protein meaning they help to stabilise your blood sugar levels and keep you feeling fuller for longer.
- Heat a pan over medium heat with a drizzle of olive oil. Sauté the onions until they are soft. Then add the garlic, spices and continue sautéing until garlic is just slightly browned.
- In a bowl, pour out chickpeas and a little bit of the water they’re in.
- Mash with a fork slightly then add to the pan and sauté until hot.
- Add the spinach and wilt, Season and drizzle over a little lime and lime zest to serve.
